Mittai Veedu is Agam Theatre Lab’s evocative retelling of Hansel and Gretel, set in a world where sweetness hides danger and survival demands courage. When two siblings lose their way, they stumble upon a dazzling house made of treats—inviting, tempting, and deeply unsettling. Through ensemble-driven storytelling, physical theatre, music, and dark humour, Agam transforms the familiar fairytale into a layered exploration of hunger, trust, and resilience. Mittai Veedu reminds us that growing up often means learning to see beyond appearances—and finding strength in each other when the world turns uncertain.

At the end of the programme, students will have the opportunity to showcase their growth and talents in a live carousel  performance of The Beanstalk (adapted from Jack and the Beanstalk) before an audience - an unforgettable experience for every child!
